From the award-winning creators of Fireproof and Courageous comes WAR ROOM, a compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships, and every other area of our lives.

Tony and Elizabeth Jordan seemingly have it all—great jobs, a beautiful daughter, and their dream house. But appearances can be deceiving. Tony and Elizabeth Jordan’s world is actually crumbling under the strain of a failing marriage. While Tony basks in his professional success and flirts with temptation, Elizabeth’s bitterness only increases.

But their lives take an unexpected turn when Elizabeth’s newest client, Miss Clara, challenges Elizabeth to establish a prayer “war room” and a battle plan of prayer for her family. As Elizabeth begins to fight for her family, Tony must decide if he will make amends.

I love War Room! It is a great movie that shows a married couple whose marriage is not strong in the Lord. I like how the wife sets aside time daily to pray and learns how to pray for her marriage. Through the power of her prayers the whole family starts to change.

I remember when this movie first came out. As soon as it was available on DVD I bought it. I was so inspired by the power of prayer and faith in this movie that I created my own “war room.” This movie was a powerful reminder of allowing God to fight our battles with us and remembering the sanctity of marriage. One of my favorites! I especially love the part when the wife kicks the devil out of her house. I could feel the power of her words!

I loved this movie and I learned so much. It was actually full of answers that I was looking for about prayer. I am grateful that I watched this movie. It will help me learn to make my prayers more meaningful. Miss Clara was selling her house and Elizabeth Jordan was her realtor. Little did Elizabeth know that Miss Clara would be helping Elizabeth a lot more than she would be helping Miss Clara.
I love the idea of a War Room. I love that God is able to take all of my battles and fight them for me. I loved how they had prayers and scriptures in their quiet place to remind them of the things that they were praying about. This movie was not what I was expecting, but it was better!
