I really enjoyed this film, I should have taken notes of the references but that will give me good reason to watch again! I was definitely moved by the spirit and cried several times, my personal trademark !
I can not say enough good about this movie. It teaches not only by faith but also by evidence of the life and Atonement of our Savior. This is a must watch for anyone who is struggling.
This was a great movie with an inspiring true story of a is an avowed atheist, as he sees no evidence any god exists.
The man becomes convinced the only way he can save his marriage, and his wife from Christianity is to prove the central precept of the religion is untrue; that Christ died on the cross and was resurrected. He is positive he can do this with enough research and his logical skills. He soon discovers that there is so much hard evidence of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, more so than any other major event in history. It is a story that strengthens your faith in Jesus Christ and is very thought-provoking at the same time.
This movie is a great film that shows you just how powerful the power of prayers are when you start praying for your husbands and your marriages and how the Lord helps you along the way.
Great storyline! My favorite part is when the man in the Hospital tells Lee, “You didn’t want to see”. Sometimes God places so much evidence in front of us and it’s up to us to take that step of Faith in order to actually be able to see. I really love the Wife and the part she played his conversion. Her faith and her hope is inspiring. She used the power of prayer and love to be able to keep going even when her husband was leading the family not so righteously.
Having been confronted with individuals much like Lee Stroble, I greatly appreciated being taken along his journey and getting an inside view into how his mind worked and the struggles he had in his heart. I also could relate to his wife and felt inspired by her faith, her patience, her grace, and courage. This was a poignant movie which makes several important points.
