Sacrifice and Sacrament (1995) is a CES Old Testament seminary film in which an LDS youth is taken back in time by his older self to witness ancient sacrificial practices firsthand and discover their connection to the modern ordinance of the sacrament. Drawing on Leviticus and featuring commentary from Elder L. Tom Perry, the film illustrates how the Mosaic law of animal sacrifice pointed forward to the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and how that same symbolism continues today through the sacrament.
