The film follows President Lorenzo Snow as he tries to resolve the church’s mounting debt and the struggles of the Mormon settlers suffering through drought. This film was a great one to show the patience we are at times required before the blessings of the Lord are received. It shows that the trials of our faith teach us much about patience and waiting on the Lord’s timing. It also shows the importance of the principle of tithing, and what is expected of us.
