In comparing the Book of Mormon with our day, there are many interesting parallels. In each:

DESTRUCTION: The more righteous gather in and the wicked are destroyed to prepare the way for the Coming of the Son of God.

COMING OF CHRIST: The righteous are resurrected. Christ comes to His people, heals the sick, reestablishes his Church and expounds all things.

PEACE: All eventually are converted to the true Gospel and become partakers of the Heavenly Gift. The cities are rebuilt and a great period of peace continues for several generations.

This pattern can be found throughout the Book of Mormon.

Is latter-day history laid out and foreshadowed in the Book of Mormon? What if we were to take the most fundamental and key prophetic events of the last days and organize them chronologically, and then lay out the Book of Mormon history on top of it? How does this help us better understand the signs of the times in the last days? What can this tell us the challenges that lie ahead, and more importantly, the answers to those challenges?

There is a perfect correlation between the Book of Mormon as a prophetic voice from the past for the people of this land in the Americas. It is, it is, it truly is the word of the Lord. I awoke to the cause of freedom and liberty five years ago and rely on the Book of Mormon as the main guide to teaching and sharing Constitutional principles among my community members. At least to all who are willing to listen. This part of the Lord\’s teaching has only brought me closer to His ways and has been a source of missionary work and opportunity along the way. There is no mistake or misinterpretation by what these teachings mean, there is a spiritual awakening and activity stemming from this part of our testimonies that rings true of the war in Heaven, that continues for the very souls of men and women of Christ, whether they be of the LDS faith or not, at this juncture in human history.
